Organizational development looks at how an organization can expand the knowledge and effectiveness of its people to be a more successful organization. When psychologists realized that the structure of an organization influences worker behavior and motivation, the science of OD came about.

This assignment will give you the opportunity to look at an organization?s climate and culture and determine how they influence the development of the organization. General guidelines This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required. Include a minimum of five scholarly topic-relevant sources (majority of articles should be published within past 5 years) You are required to submit this assignment to Turnitin. Please refer to the directions in the Student Success Center.

Directions Write a paper of 2,000-2,500 words in which you discuss the impact that culture, climate, and interventions influence organizational development. Support your responses with current research. In your paper, address the following:

Delineate the difference between organizational culture and organizational climate and describe how they impact organizational development.

Describe three major OD intervention techniques and how they are applied. Discuss appreciative inquiry and how it could guide organizational development.

OVERVIEW: This assignment requires you to practice your research, analysis, ideation, and design skills to create an innovation visual case study . INSTRUCTIONS: Select an organization of your choice, reflect on problems and opportunities that exist there, brainstorm and formulate a pitch for an innovation, add some research backing, and present your pitch via two different graphic deliverables.

Before submitting for assessment, test your work/idea out on at least three others (ďusersĒ) and collect/comment on their feedback. GRAPHIC DELIVERABLES: Select a minimum of 2 graphic deliverables from the list on OnQ to create/submit for this assignment. Samples (not exemplars) available on OnQ.

Have a different visual format in mind? Pitch it to the prof over email please. Incorporated as part of (at least one of) the graphic deliverables, frame your work with a brief introduction to provide context, and an executive summary with at least 3 key takeaways about your innovation idea.

Also on the graphics, include your list of works cited (minimum 3 connections to course concepts and 3 external sources) and add a brief (1-2 sentence) annotation to each source.
