Should Christians stay in the church and not try to influence the world through politics? Discuss your understanding whether Christians should be engaged in politics or not. Assuming Christians should be involved, can they, as Wear asks, thrive in the public square while holding to the basic tenets of their faith? What response would Wear, Tinder and Metaxas offer respectively to what appropriate Christian engagement looks like in our political context?
